My name is Joshua Tallent, and I am a professional eBook developer. I am the eBook Development Manager for a company called WORDsearch by day, and an eBook developer and web designer by night. I have been editing and developing eBooks for over 5 years, and I have experience dealing with files in a variety of formats.

I enjoy working with eBooks more than any other job I have ever had. The transformation process a book goes through from hardcopy to e-text is always a challenge; every book is different, and every project brings unique obstacles and issues. That is part of the reason I love doing this so much... there is never a dull moment.

As my wife and all my friends can tell you, I am a stickler for quality and precision. When I first began to learn HTML I worked very hard to learn the XHTML and CSS standards from the beginning instead of just learning the basics and picking up the rest as time went on. I have endeavored to become proficient in those languages and to develop good coding practices that will still be valid for years to come.
