Podcast coming

My friend Derek and I started doing a little podcast at eBookNinjas.com a month or so ago, but our schedules are way too fractured to keep up with it on a regular basis. However, I think I can handle a 5-10 minute weekly podcast myself, so we have decided to move the podcasts over here to KindleFormatting.com. Derek will still join me periodically, but in general I will be talking about common formatting questions and issues, as well as news about the Kindle.

This is where you come in. I need to know if you have any questions burning in your mind, anything at all about formatting books for the Kindle that you have not seen answered somewhere else yet. If you do, please drop me a line and I will add your question to my podcast agenda.

Kindle 2.0 confirmed!

An analyst with inside contacts at Amazon has confirmed that the company is working on "several new, improved versions of the Kindle," specifically a text-book sized version. What does that mean for you as an author? More possibilities! And rest assured that KindleFormatting.com will be there to help you get your book ready for publication, whether it is a textbook or not.

Not with the DOJ

I was looking at my website stats the other day and noticed that someone dropped by after searching for "kindle 1.0" on cuil.com, the new search engine that some people are saying will take on Google. I found it quite amusing when I did that search myself because they placed a Department of Justice seal next to the KindleFormatting search result. For the record, I am in no way affiliated with or being investigated by the DOJ. I think cuil needs to work on their web spiders some more...
